Homemade Antibacterial Salve

This homemade antibacterial salve is great for minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.

Equipment

  • Small Salve Tins or Containers
  • Double Boiler Pan
  • Double Boiler Insert
  • Droppers for Essential Oil

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Virgin Coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup Castor Oil
  • 20 drops Lavender Essential Oil
  • 10-15 drops Lemon Essential Oil
  • 5-10 drops of Tea Tree Oil
  • 1/4 cup Vitamin E Oil
  • 1-2 oz Beeswax

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients , except for the essential oils into your double boiler or a pan inside of another pan of water to create a makeshift double boiler.
  • Heat on Medium, until all ingredients are liquid.
  • Turn heat down to low, and add the essential oils.
  • Stir really well.
  • Pour the liquid carefully into small salve containers of your choice. I prefer small tins.
  • Let it cool for 2-3 hours or overnight, and then place the lids on.

Notes

Only use high quality essential oil that can be used on skin
